NC State University Participates in #HealthyCampusWeek
Next week, September 21 to September 25, is the Healthy Campus Week, a national initiative, which is promoted by Partnership for a Healthier America, (PHA).
Throughout the week University Recreation and University Dining will be sponsoring events all around campus to promote the Healthy Campus Initiative through PHA’s social media challenge. These events will encourage students to eat healthy, get enough exercise, and most importantly, to post #HealthyCampus on social media (including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) to enter in the Healthy Campus Week Sweepstakes.
This year, PHA has also created a Healthy Mascot Challenge that will launch on Wednesday, September 23, during Healthy Campus Week. This is a great opportunity for NC State to receive recognition for our wellness initiatives, and for Mr. Wuf to win the Healthy Mascot Challenge. We can challenge other mascots all over the nation, during this initiative.
