Outdoor Functional Training Area set to open during Fall Semester

On Sunday, August 16, University Recreation will be opening a Functional Training area on Miller Fields. The MoveStrong “FitGround” features more than 4,000 square feet of functional fitness space, complete with a cargo net, dip bars, sit-up benches, wall ball targets, and box jumps.

This space will be available for use during Carmichael Complex Hours of Operation and is subject to change due to Miller Field conditions and inclement weather. The “FitGround” will also be used as part of the brand-new speciality fitness class, A.T.P, held every Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. during the Fall Semester.
