Summer Carmichael Complex Facility Enhancements Scheduled

During the month of May, several facility enhancements are scheduled in and near the vicinity of the Carmichael Complex.

Carmichael Gym Restroom Renovation

Work is planned to renovate restrooms located on the first floor of the Carmichael Gym, near Rooms 1308 and 1309. The work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 9, with expected completion in June 2017. Available restrooms are located on the second floor of the Carmichael Gym, near Room 2306 and the Carmichael Gym main entrance.

Annual Steam and Hot Water Shut-off

A University-wide steam and hot water shut-off is scheduled to take place between midnight Monday, May 15 and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17. During this period, users may experiences colder than average water temperatures in the Carmichael Gym locker rooms and the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center.

Tree Removal

Beginning Monday, May 15 and continuing until Wednesday, May 17, University Ground Services will be performing work to remove and prune trees located on the Cates Avenue side of the Carmichael Gym. During this time, parking will be unavailable in the area extending from the Cates Avenue entrance of the Carmichael Gym to the intersection of Cates Avenue and Morrill Drive. Parking is available in the Coliseum Deck, located on the east side of Reynolds Coliseum.
