Make new friends and lasting memories on an Outdoor Adventures trip this year. Whether it’s rock climbing Pilot Mountain, canoeing across the Great Smoky Mountains or surfing the North Carolina coast, these trips are sure to expand your comfort zone while leaving you with a trip to remember. Don’t consider yourself an expert on outdoor activities? Don’t dismiss these trips too quickly. Beginners and experts alike can gather with other members of the Wolfpack to share in their passion for living a healthy life.

From the lakes and mountains, head to the court, field or pitch for a dose of healthy competition with NC State students, faculty and staff. University Recreation offers 43 different clubs, including such sports as Sailing, Equestrian, Gymnastics, Fusion Dance, Ultimate Frisbee and Ice Hockey. Join a team just as passionate about a certain sport as you are and compete against other universities. Email the clubs directly for more information and how to get involved or visit the Club Sports Directory.

For those of you looking for a more casual commitment, check out any of the 27 intramural sports we offer. Students can learn a new sport and take home one of the coveted intramural championship shirts. Register on IMleagues for our open leagues and events.

Each week this semester will bring more than 100 group fitness classes. From building muscle in BODYPUMP to sweating it out in cycling, whether your are a beginner or a regular, our group fitness schedule is sure to have something to fit your schedule and personal fitness goals. Up for more of a challenge? Register for personal or small group training for a more intimate assessment of your fitness. Try it for free during the first week of class.
