Wolfpack Strength and Conditioning Centers Scheduled to Open

The wait is over for NC State Students and Carmichael Complex Members.

The Wolfpack Strength and Conditioning Centers, located in the Carmichael Gym, are scheduled to open on Tuesday, January 19. More than 5,000 square of additional fitness space has been added, as part of the Locker Room Renovation and Fitness Center Expansion project. Here’s some details of what to expect with the opening of the new spaces:

Additional Equipment

Several pieces of new fitness equipment highlight this new space. The LifeFitness Syngry and the TechnoGym Kinesis bring new dimensions to functional training. Additional options such as kettlebells, plyometric boxes, and olympic weightlifting platforms are also available for use.

Personal Viewing Screens

More than 18 pieces of cardio equipment will feature personal viewing screens. These screens will allow users to watch their favorite TV shows, browse the internet, or post content on Social Media. Up to 20 channels, including ESPN, Discovery, CNN, and National Geographic highlight the many options available on these screens.
