Pack Pause Mindfulness
- Dates: Monday, September 18 – Friday, September 22
- Register by: Sunday, September 17
This five-day challenge will guide you through daily activities aimed at unlocking the power of being in the present moment. Mindfulness and meditation have been shown to boost focus, improve our sense of well-being, and strengthen our attention – all vital to being socially and academically successful. All experience levels welcome!
- Day 1 | A Mindful Community
- Day 2 | Mindfulness Journaling
- Day 3 | Mindful Eating
- Day 4 | Moving Mindfully
- Day 5 | Mindful Meditation
Prize: Three participants will be randomly selected to win a Mindfulness Kit!
Step To It
- Dates: Monday, October 16 – Monday, November 14
- Register by: Friday, October 13
- Teams consist of 3-10 participants, with a team captain.
- There will be a single overall winning team.
- Open to students, faculty and staff.
- Individuals will record daily steps, Monday – Sunday, and add to obtain a weekly total.
- Participants must submit totals to the team captain weekly by the deadline (below).
- Team captains submit all individual step counts on the team’s behalf.
- Step counts submitted after the deadline will not be recorded.
- Hold your team accountable for submitting step counts on time!
