We have more than 15 wellness workshops and education sessions about stress, self-care, mindfulness, resilience, financial well-being, boundaries and much more.
For the Fall 2020 semester, all education sessions and wellness workshops will continue as virtual offerings. We are able to customize all sessions to fit your needs. Whether you need us for 10 minutes or two hours, we can work with you.
Wellness education sessions are presentations that are centered around an informative and engaging Powerpoint. These sessions are best suited for classes and other seated gatherings and can be modified to fit the needs of your group.
A Wise Well Wolfpack
Wellness is more than eating healthy and exercising. This session will introduce the concept of wellness and provide tips and strategies for living a balanced, holistic life.
From Sit to Fit
For many, the majority of our day is spent sitting. We’ll teach you about the “sitting disease” and how to break free from your chair to live a healthier lifestyle. We’ll go over proper sitting posture and what it mean to be “desk chair fit.”
Putting Stress to Rest
Managing stress is essential to living a healthy, productive lifestyle. We’ll teach you a variety of techniques and strategies you can use to help improve your stress management skills.
A Well Rested Wolfpack
A large part of being successful at NC State starts a night before. Getting quality and ample sleep every night is essential to reaching your personal and academic goals. Learn how proper sleep hygiene can impact your health and well-being.

Learn the foundations of taking care of yourself so you can feel healthy, happy and whole. In this session we go beyond the definition of self-care to identify your personal needs and create simple steps for meeting them.
Bouncing Back: Building Resilience in the Wake of COVID-19
Times are tough, but so are you! We are all facing so many unique challenges brought on by the coronavirus pandemic and it might feel overwhelming at times. This session explores helpful strategies to manage our stressors and build resilience during this uncertain time.
Education Session Information
- Access to a projector and a sound system is ideal, but not required for delivery of presentation. If a projector is available, the presenter will bring a laptop to connect.
- You are responsible for providing and/or reserving a space for the educational session.

Mindful vs. Mind Full
Balancing classes, work and a personal life can be overwhelming. This workshop is designed to help you find a moment or two every day to practice mindfulness and get some relief from everyday stressors.
Take Back Your Time: Skills for Better Time Management
Time management challenges are common in the university environment. Unhealthy time management practices can lead to unnecessary stress. This session provides techniques for pinpointing stressors and managing “you” time.
The Art of Being a Goal Getter
Whether its establishing goals for your well-being, academics or personal life, this session provides personalized strategies for planning and overcoming obstacles that get in the way of success.
No Equipment, No Problem
Struggling to squeeze in time to get to the gym? By taking you through a quick fitness session, this workshop introduces you to some ways to exercise in the comfort of your residence hall, apartment or home.
Love for Every Body
A body-positive mindset is difficult to achieve. This workshop gives perspective, resources and techniques to help you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin.
Stand Your Ground: Communicating Your Boundaries with Confidence

This workshop is designed to equip you with tools to identify stressors and develop resiliency. The ability to come back from adversity with a positive and productive mindset is the goal.
Disconnect to Reconnect
Step away from the screen. The average American spends nearly 10 hours in front of a screen. The amount of time can lead to depression, anxiety and loneliness. Learn how you can disconnect and reconnect with others and yourself.

We can create a custom workshop experience for your group, department or student organization. A wellness workshop is an educational and experiential opportunity that provides easy access to screenings, activities and information about the latest trends in wellness and fitness. These sessions give you the knowledge you need to live a healthy lifestyle and create a culture of wellness.
These custom experiences are a great addition to retreats, events, programs, training and more. Workshops must be at least two (2) hours in length.
